The members of the Corporation of Our Lady of Holy Cross College issued the following release on August 16:
“The Members of the Corporation of Our Lady of Holy Cross College announced that they are forming a new Board of Regents. Also, effective August 16, 2011, the Members appointed as Interim President of the College Dr. Myles Seghers. Additionally, Dr. Patricia Prechter has been appointed interim Provost.
“Dr. Myles Seghers has been on the faculty of Our Lady of Holy Cross College’s Education Department since 1998 and most recently has been coordinator of their master’s program in Educational Leadership.
“Dr. Patricia Prechter, who has been associated with the College’s nursing program since its inception in the late 1980’s, has served for the past three years as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.”
Seghers succeeds Holy Cross Father Anthony J. DeConciliis, who had served as president of Our Lady of Holy Cross College since 2005.
