Priests, deacons, religious to celebrate jubilees at April 10 Mass

 
Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond will celebrate the annual Jubilarian Mass April 10 at St. Rita Church, New Orleans, at 3 p.m. for 81 priests, brothers, deacons and religious men and women.
 
There are six archdiocesan priests, 22 deacons and 53 religious men and women – including 13 priests, eight brothers and 32 sisters – celebrating major anniversaries of ordination or religious commitment.
The jubilarians have served a total of 3,845 years in religious life.
 
Archbishop Aymond will be the principal celebrant. Josephite Father Charles Andrus, celebrating his 40th jubilee as a priest, will be the homilist. Father Andrus is the pastor at Blessed Sacrament-St. Joan of Arc Parish.

➤ 75-year jubilarians: Ursuline Sister Kathleen Barnes and Ursuline Sister Marie McCloskey.
 
➤ 70-year jubiliarians: Sister of Mercy Mary Evelyn Fournet, Holy Family Sister Cynthia Marie Jackson, Holy Family Sister M. Carolyn Leslie, Sister of Mount Carmel Denis Rodrigue and Holy Family Sister M. Frances Cabrini Turnbull.
