Keeping CHRIST in Christmas

Archbishop Gregory Aymond stands next to the “Keep Christ in Christmas” banner posted on the front lawn of his residence at South Carrollton and Walmsley avenues in New Orleans.

The Christ in Christmas Committee organized a record-breaking billboard campaign for 2015, erecting 59 large billboards across the archdiocese and 10 bus-stop signs. There also are electronic billboards proclaiming the same message. In his column on page 2, Archbishop Aymond says the simple message of Christ’s birth should remain at the forefront of Catholic prayer during Christmas. “The birth of Jesus changed the whole course of human events,” he writes.
